Family-Owned Business Expands to the Southeastern United States

Des Moines, Iowa (April 2021) — Hale Holdings and Quick Supply Company have closed on their acquisition of Elite Blasting Services LLC, headquartered in Statesville, North Carolina. Elite Blasting Services and Quick Supply Co. provide blasting services and product distribution to the mining, quarry, and construction market segments.

Elite Blasting Services has site locations in North Carolina, Georgia, and Tennessee and serves customers in South Carolina, Alabama, and Virginia. Rex Scooter Guill and Robbins Doodle Guill of Elite Blasting Services will continue to manage the business in the southeast. The Guill family has a strong history in the explosives and blasting industry. Further, Quick Supply Co. is the largest independent distributor of explosives products and services and is the exclusive explosives company dealer of Carlson software and hardware in the United States.

With this purchase, Hale Holdings intends to grow the Elite Blasting Services business in the southeastern United States. Hale Holdings and Quick Supply Co. now provide blasting and explosives services to the states of Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota, Indiana, Illinois, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, and Virginia.
